  1. Wow this is an awesome modification! best thing i've done to the truck! Where a live there are a lot of hills on the open road that stretch for 3-6km. I used to just chuck it in 3rd and sit at 80k. NOW i can flick it into overdrive minus the lockup and it'll happily sit at around 100k at the same revs it used to sit at 80. Top job diesel boy
  2. yes, your post was of great help. Only thing I had to change for my terrano was the removal of the roll over meter atop the centre of the dash. All very easy still.
  3. Ok, thanks. I'll try turning the thing a wee bit
  4. Hi, My D21 Terrano has a dud speedo drive from the gearbox. The speedo doesnt work, yet the cable is still fine(works with drill) The little turning bit inside the drive spins freely at my control and also moves in and out, is this normal? Its an Auto box mounted to the 2.7 TDI. So i'm not sure if its the same as the V6 auto ones I tried to remove it from the gearbox, its an elipse shape thing that has one 10mm bolt holding it on, I unbolted it but cant seem to remove it. Can anyone shed some light on what i'm trying to do? thanks
  5. Well I successfully removed all my dash and its actually very easy to do. So if anyone needs a hand you can message me But I still didnt eliminate that bloody rattle/squeak!!!!!!! My whole 2 days of work basically useless. So i've decided its not in the interior but maybe under that panel above the bonnet, like a windscreen wiper motor lose or something. I must say, removing and installing the dash using thick double sided tape on the mounting points did eliminate alot of smaller rattles and knocks
  6. I'm in the process of removing my dash also (funnily enough to find this ANNOYING squeak!) So far i've, removed the dash surround and cluster, removed my roll over meter (its a jdm terrano), removed glovebox, removed stereo, removed metal plate from the front of dash, removed the side airvents. I cant find any screws/bolts down the sides of the dash, only the ones on the underside. Plus another question, it looks like its in two parts, the soft vinyl on top that ajoins the plastic underneath. I cant for the life of my seperate the two (do they?) Thanks
  7. Thanks, I've got the interior handle off now. Just wasnt sure if it was clipped, didnt want to break it My 6.5 inch components are now half installed. Seems weird how the Jap versions had different sized speakers than the US ones.
  8. Hi guys, Just about to install some 6.5 inch components in the front doors of my 91 5dr terrano (terranos had 6.5in speakers factory ) I cant figure out how to remove the door panel, or more to the point, how to remove the door opener (I cant find any screws for it) Does it just pull off or clips or what? Thanks
