  1. Ok first of all i go to get a car manual for my terrano so i can start to learn how to do things myself. AND GUESS WHAT NO-ONE makes one for a terrano. Ok so im already anyoyed when i take my car for a frount end alingment as its WAY off after i cranked my bars.

    So about 30min after putting the car in i get a call saying u have ALOT of major frount end issues we cant do an allignment.

    Heres the damadge report.

    Drag link worn at pit arm

    LH sway bar bushes missing

    Lower control arm bushes gone and are wearing through the metal.

    RH Link-pin bushes gone.

     

    And of course being an import they cant get any of the parts.

    So right now im serriosly thinking about getting rid of the Pathy (terrano) for a non-import. I love my car but things just keep going wrong and parts are hard to find and expensive.

     

    Anyone have any idea how much this will cost to fix or where i can get it from

  2. I guess it could be coming down from the motor (frount) and just building up on the bottom of the diff making it look like its coming from there. Also there is some oil at teh frount of teh diff on the left side

  3. smell alittle bit. Its leaking right at the bottom in the middle. About how much does it cost to repair (at mecahnics) i just wanna know how much so i dont get ripped off.

    Also there a tick,tick,tick noise (like a clock) coming from above it after i take it for a drive. Dont know if that has anything to do with it

  4. Need to do some form of lift to my terrano as my 31s still rub when hitting large bumps.

    I DONT want to crank the torsion bar anymore than i have to.

    I want to put some JGC springs in the rear cause i want a stiffer ride so i thought that i could put thoose in then put a bodylift in the frount to compensate.

    But i have heard that you cant just put a body lift in the frount and not the back.

    Is this true????

  5. Followed the how to but cant get the stupid thing out

    Taken off the adjuster bolt (the one you use to crank it) but now i cant pust it forward or back.

    Have tried using a malet as well. is there somthing i might have missed.

     

    There is a nut at the frount of the torsion bar that connect it to some "arm thingy" that then connects to the bottom of the hub.

    Do i need to loosen this

  6. How sure are you about the lift for the 4 door pathfinders with wheel carier. I want to do one of these sping lifts but am only looking for 1-1.5 inch of extra lift. Is there any way in can make the springs smaller if i get to much lift.

    Must sound weird about not wanting the full amount but i drive my truck pretty hard and without being able to get aftermarket steeing upgrades (living in Australia) im sure i will be breaking tire rods and the like left, right an centre with any lift above 1.5

  7. just got some 31 BFG A/t and fitted them to my 91 terrano but the rub like crazy.

    All i want to do is lift the car enough so that the tyres no longer rub. Right now i am thinking of getting some 1 to 1.5inch (will these be hard to get) rear springs and cranking the torsion bar but with this stop the rubbing??????

    I dont want to do any suspension lifts over 1.5 beacause of the frount end issues so if that is too low i will have to do a body lift.
