  3. thanks pezzy found that spot but they have put a computer box or somthing over the top of it didn't want to run anything to close to it (uhf or cb ) in case it @!*%'s it's self
  4. high guys having trouble finding any spots with rubber gromets to run wires from the cab to the engine bay do you have to drill a hole and if so what would be the best spot :secret:
  5. Check all the rubber bushes to start with start with shocks ect
  6. Just thinking ( i know ) have you checked the wheel bearing's for play if one is loose it will push the pad away :secret: . This can be checked with to much pedal travel if this has been brought up before just tell me to shutup :X

  12. checked that and adjusted it to have about 30tho clerance when hot :cool2: one thing i did find when the air is on it bump's it up about an extra 200 rev's -study-

An't got a ECT The back hole has never been taped must be diffrent down here in oz :secret: Thanks for your help anyway explorx4 cleand out the throttel body got heaps of gunk out of it ' it seems to be a bit better now i think if i have another go at it i will get it right next time I now have some throttel body cleaner had to use metho last time . :allclean: I also cleand the MAF with metho dont know if that made any diffrence though regards ken

  16. wear's the TEMP SENSOR and what the hell is the MAF SENSOR and wear is it as i said earler i grew up with carbys and ignition points and old diesel's but you show me were it is and i will have a go at it sly thanks guys
  17. no the light is not it idles at 900 when hot about 1200 when cold
  18. my motor is idling at about 900 rpm tryed to slow it with the idle screw on the throttel body but that only made it stick dont know mutch about these computer cars use to carby jobs screwed the one under the throttel body but that just reduced the cold idle :help: ( the book said it should idle at 750 rpm )thanks guys regards ken

Valve stem seals as the engine idles it sucks oil in past the seals when you give it a rev it goes into the cilinder and het presto smoke :secret: I think you can put new ones in with out taking the heads off by putting each piston to the top taking out the spark plug putting compressed air hose in it keeping the air going in while you take the valve spring off replacing the seal refitting the spring and then moving on to the next one . At least that's how we did it on a falcon 4.1 motor :cool2: you can make a air fitting out of a old spark plug
