I had both converters removed same problem.i think i'm going to turn this over to a mechanic i've elimated lot of possible problems to no avail

I’ve posted a topic already about my pathy not reving past 2800 rpm, my plugs are black so I think the truck is running rich it’s not burning the fuel, the ecu keeps giving me a Maf senor code, but we’ve already test that with a new one but it runs the same, Know after some research I’ve come to notice that when I start the truck and let it run awhile my temp gauge stays limp( it lift just an inch or 2) so I’m guessing that my coolant temp sensor has gone bad. So here my question is it possible that it might be the problem? Oh btw a temp sensor here is like $36. And I really don’t want to spent more $ without that being the problem. This will be my last effort or else I’m taking to the mechanic

Hmm, i didn't smell them but i'm gonna get some new ones today, i'm still waiting on the fuel pump to see if maybe that the promblem, if not i can strap that of the list. i reseted the ecu but it keeps giving me the maf sensor code, anto i already ruled that out. Do you know where the ground is connected for the maf senor?

If the ECU is giving you an error code is it possible that something else might be the problem?

Ok, here is what i did today, i took out all the spark plugs, all were black like burnt, i'm still waiting on another fuel pump to swap it and see what results it will bring. any ideas why the plugs are like that? maybe to much gasoline?

Was able lend a new maf sensor from a local nissan dealer, changed it but the truck kept doing the same, now i'm checking the fuel pump

Do you stil have that MAF sensor ?

Ok. I did what suggested unplug the MAF sensor and see if there is a difference but the motor will start but dies after a few seconds, does that tell you anything? I'm going to check my coil next not sure if that will help thanks

Ok did the error code diagnostics and this is what a gave me. 12.air flow meter/mass air flow sensor [/color] which i cleaned it like the write up instructed,also when i start the car and take of the conector of the MAF sensor the motor dies,(does that mean that it works?) 21.Ignition signal ( i really don't what means, i googled it but nothing) any suggestions? 34.knock sensor ( this i will see if i can get one here and change tommorow and what it does) So any insite on this problem anyone? thanks

Here's my problem, bought a pathfinder cheap from a lady because she was sick and tired of it, spend alot of money on it but couldn't solve problem. the problem is the pathy starts prefectly idles ok ,but when reving it won;t go pass 2000 rpm,i've cleaned ta MAF sensor an TPS but problem is still there. I also took the battery out after reading some of the other right ups but same problem. Can anyone help me here please?

Replaced my starter last weekend spend about 3 hour just to get it out after remove the bolts and wires etc, only problem it was to far gone to be rebuilt, at least that what they told me at the shop, good part is that i couldn't find a starter for a 95 but i tried one from a newer model, fit perfectly and best part it SMALLER, so i had no problem putting it back. This write up help me a lot, thanks guys

I found this also on ebay (see attached pic) Guy said it would fit perfectly and that he never had any complaints yet, But the messurements look off to me and the it probaly won't be a prefect fit, but the mat look also good to me thanks
