  1. I've got the K&N FIPK II and it made a huge improvement in power and throttle response, and I'd say i gained about 1 mpg. Definately a very worthwhile investment
  2. My 01 gets about 15 city and close to 20-21 on the highway
  3. Wait, so what size do i need? and do i have to use any electronic modifications to use the LED's
  4. that's what i was talking about, thanks for the heads up
  5. Anyone here have those LED taillight bulbs that fit in your regular Halogen bulb mount ,allowing you to have LED's on any kind of vehicle? I want to put some on my pathy, but I wanted to make sure they were good first
  6. true it probably did seem steeper than it actually was, i'm not going to take my pathy offroad again. It's too nice haha, but i'm going to save up and buy like a beat up 92 and take that offroad...i'd like to find 1 with the 5 spd stick
  7. actually i flipped out so much when i saw the scratches that I didn't wanna take any pics with my phone i just wanted to get out of the pit ASAP
  8. Well I haven't posted in a while because I just got my license and I've been all over the place (as i'm sure most of you were when you got yours). I finally took my pathfinder (R50) into the pit in sayreville, nj today with my friend and his wrangler, and it was a BLAST! i had to buff out a couple of scratches that i was flippin out about when i was in the trail, but other than that it was awesome. I climbed a 50 degree hill in 4LO, drove over a foot high rock, and drove through a puddle that was probably a couple of feet deep. I have a whole new love and respect for my turck and dont' take anyone who says pathfinders cant' handle the trail seriously
  9. yes that's the nissan brushguard, you can get it at www.courtesyparts.com for about $400
  10. Thanks I'm gonna order those blackpanther skids and hope my paint doesn't get scratched up
  11. OK two questions: #1 In the next few months I'm going to be taking my 01 into the pit in Sayreville, NJ, and I know i have to drive through some brush and some low branches and what not..how can I protect my paint from scratches? #2 I'm in the market for a set of aftermarket skids to protect the entire bottom of the truck, but i can't find any..what's a good brand? and a link to the product if possible
  12. Got stuck with my buddy in a wrangler today because the shift lever broke on his transfer case, guess what came to save us? His Dad's Xterra...got through everything we couldn't, and pulled us out! This thread is a shot at all those who try and say Nissans can't go offroad
  13. nice man, this weekend I'm doing a complete overhaul of the audio system, hehe the CD player gave me an excuse
  14. that's awesome, are they hubcentric? and are they 16x8?
  15. www.thepartsbin.com, I've ordered most of my stuff off of there (the rest was off ebay), and it's all been top notch plus they offer free shipping..and you don't have to search through a bunch of stuff you can search by your vehicle/year
  16. It's great I have one with Hella 500's it looks really good
  17. I put on a set of westin taillight guards on my truck, and I noticed that if I shake them there is a little bit of play in them..is this normal? Or should they be 100% tight on the taillight
  18. I don't plan on going into any deep water anyway so I'm not really worried about it
  19. I think K&N makes one, but i may be wrong
  20. http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RF-1037DK it doesn't elminate water getting into it, but it limits it
  21. K&N makes a special cover that allows air in but blocks out water, I looked on their website
  22. Well, I changed my mind, I'm not going to buy wheels or anymore exterior accessories i'm going to buy the ranchos AND the CAI
