I've got the same exact thing right now. You need to either clean or replace that injector. Test the resistance, if it's over 20 ohms then get a new one. Replace the knock sensor. I'm just waiting on parts....I'm getting 11 mpg right now b/c of this.

will these be available after this run of these are made?
-
Yeah now that I think about it, I did have the '97 4x4 Pickup 5-spoke wheels on my '95 pathfinder. Although the Pickup was based off the WD21s and noth the R50s. My main concern is the back spacing. From what I read, people say go 4" to 4.5" on the R50s. He's saying 3.5" to 4", which has me a little worried. I guess worst case senario I can put a 1/2" spacer on there and maybe some longer lug studs, but is it worth the trouble then? lol
-
Would these rock crawers off the WD21 fit my R50? I'm not sure about the backspacing and lug pattern. I am planning to do a 2" lift as well b/f I mount them. from this link: http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...20&start=20 thnx in advance!

Ouch.... thank god you are ok!

lol thanks guys & girls.....Be sides the '95 I owned b/f, My family has owned a '93 XE(bought new then) then traded in for a 99.5 LE(new). The LE my sister has now. I need a lift soon though, the suspension is shot on this R50. I get some nice nose dives almost everytime I stop. lol

Looks pretty nice...where did you get it from? My wheel is torn to hell and need a replacement. I was hoping I could find an '01 wheel to put on.
-
Well, after I sold the WD21 pathy almost two years ago, I'm back into the Nissan family! I could not find a decent 4x4 WD21 for the life of me down here. I just picked up a '98 QX4 with 84k on it. It's bone stock right now. After I give it a much needed tune up and tranny fluid change, I'll get into a few mods. Definately a lift and a different wheel/tire combo(31s?). I still need to do more research on the R50s, but look forward to learning more about it.

Well, I just finished a motor swap on my Sentra and really would like to just pull the head off for now. I'd also like headers, but not at this time. I really would like to lift the truck before headers. Also once I get headers, I'll want a full exhaust too.
-
Anything else I should replace while I've got the head off?
-
I guess I'll drive the truck again and keep checking the oil and coolant. I just didn't want to warp the head with the blown gasket. It doesn't smoke right away, it'll smoke a few mins after I start it, and I've only noticing it lasts a few mins. I'm thinking if I've got time, I'll replace the headgasket, timing belt, water pump and manifold studs.....along with the valve guides/seals.
-
Is the Headgasket a PITA to change out?
-
No the truck drives fine, I just noticed the smoke yesterday.
-
Yeah I'll check out the oil to make sure nothing is in it, and also watch the coolant levels. I'll prob take the car to work the rest of the week until I can pinpoint this prob.
-
I think I might have a prob with the truck. When I start it to the first couple(maybe 5-10 mins) of driving the truck, it smokes white. I noticed it this morning, but thought it was a crappy car sittin' next to me. Then when I left work, I noticed it happened again. After it warms up though it doesn't smoke at all. Could it be a small oil leak that burns off in the first couple of mins of the engine warming up. At first, I was thinking head gasket, but how the smoke goes away after a few, I have no clue. Got any ideas? I haven't had time to check it out, and prob won't until this weekend but I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on possiblities.
-
Sweet thanks guys. Yes, a pic would be great. The sooner the better, since I'll prob install them today if I've got time.
-
Hmmmm I'll have to check that out. Is it ok to drill out a hole in the factory rack bar that's sufice for the light mount as well?
-
Emissions what are those? None of that down here in Florida!
-
I wanted to mount my KC Daylighters on the top on my WD21, but I'm curious to figure where to run the wires clean from the lights to the inside of the truck, without possible leaking problems too. Any suggestions? TIA
-
See I've got a small box(one 12" sub) and the spare tire which = no room. I plan to move the spare to a rack on top of the truck and then make two boxes on either side of the rear over the wheel wells.
-
Well, what if you were to get something before you either had time to take it out, or if you did expect you were going to need the room before hand? Then it be nice to have something that's already out of the way...
-
Yeah I was looking for one like that too, but had no luck. I'm not sure about approach angle, there aren't many steep inclines in south Florida. lol The Westin Part numbers are as follows: 36-1710 push bar 36-1715 brushguard
-
Yeah, I really wish my KC daylighters fit the mounts that are on the lower bar though. I do love how this one goes between the fogs and turnsignals, rather than over the fogs.
-
I have a Westin push bar in chrome. I've also got the brush guards but haven't put them on.
