  1. while using the search a while back i came accross a post for upgrading the master cylinder, i think it was off a ford from the junk yard. i can't find it been looking for 2 day's now. anyone point me in the right direction please.

  2. so on my 91 the temp guage wasn't working when i got it and the fuel gauge was only good up to half a tank or so. i did some reading on the forums and did the voltage reg mod, now i have no fuel at all and still no temp :scratchhead: i recheched all my connections and all were good still nothing. i went to check my fuses and i have no fuse for the guages inside the vehicle, is there another spot i should be looking? any help on this on? thank you

  3. I got started in wheeling a couple of years back with my 96 dodge 2500, had it lifted on 35’s. Thing was a beast. Got rid of that last year and got a 2000 expo not really good for wheeling. Got tired of that and I now have my 92 pathy, things a lil mountain goat in 4lo gottta love it. Plus it’s small and I can fit thru the tighter trails up in the mountains that I would have to turn back in my dodge. I think from now on I’ll stick with the Nissans :D

    How many miles on it??

     

    I believe you can use any 5 speed from 2 or 4 door WD21, but I know any 4 door (90-95) can be a donor. Look for low miles/well maintained (ie fluids changed). Shop locally for mechanic specials, crashed, rolled trucks you can swap from.

     

    The rebuild isn't too hard from what I understand, but I'm not a tranny guy so I won't say any more. A few people here have done it so I'll try to find a thread on it. Your best bet it to replace it with a known problem free tranny.

    awsome info man :goodpost: very helpfull, off the top of my head i have about 250k on it right now. the motor runs good just need a cap and rotor, already changed plugs, oil ect. i will be replacing the timing belt for sure hopefully in the next week or so.

  5. i tried posting this in another forum but never got a single response. i have a 92 pathy se that i picked up for 700. it runs awsome but the tranny make noises. 1st 2nd and 3rd gears make this grinding/whining noise, 4th is as quiet as a mouse, and 5th is.. well lets just say i don't go into 5th. to me it sounds like the berrings are going out? but then again i do not know a whole lot about trannys. if anyone has had this problem please chime in. my delema is weather i should try an rebuild it, and if i do where do i find a rebuild kit or components? or should i just get one fron the pick and pull? i pick up another tranny what should i look for? what years are interchangable? any help would be greatly apreciated.
