  1. Added a few more items. Wheels and lights and painted the bumpers, mirrors , tire rack and air deflector.
  2. Looks like someone made some mounts instead of using the ones that Warn makes for this guard. Here is what it should look like.
  3. Thanks for the offer, I already bought one but will keep you in mind if I find another winch. Thanks again, Charlie
  4. Brand new, still in the box Warn winch mount. $50.00 plus $50 for shipping. Sweeeeet.
  5. Also noticed while I was under the back end that I have disc brakes in the back. How common was this for an 88?
  6. Old winch off farm truck. After cleaning, painting, and new decals. Waiting on the new cable to arrive.
  7. it's a WARN all right. Pretty heavy duty and the boxes had their name all over them. The boxes hadn't been opened and everything was wrapped in brown paper and sealed pretty tight. The guy I got it from has been a WARN dealer for 25 years and was cleaning out his warehouse. Took the roller fairlead to work tonight for the winch and bead blasted it. I will clean up the winch itself tomorrow and get some new paint on it. Need to get with Ramsey and get some new decals for the winch. Still have two more braces to add to the winch mount. The front bumper has to come off and a couple of holes need to be drilled in the frame horn. Busy week ahead. More pics later....
  8. When dealing with ebay and bargain deals, you can't be too picky about chrome or black. Today I found a Ramsey 8000# winch in my dads barn that came off his old dodge. Time to find a deal on some new 5/16 cable.
  9. Brand new, still in the box Warn winch mount. $50.00 plus $50 for shipping. Sweeeeet.
  10. I figured it wasn't too important seeing as how mine is gone. It looks like the old one melted and was removed.
  11. 88 Pathy, on the right front fender in the bank of relays is one marked PTC relay. What is it?
  12. The Pathy has been sluggish since the day I saved it from the salvage yard. After replacing all the usual stuff it still is severely underpowered. I ran the codes yesterday and it says the throttle position sensor is not working. Have any of you guys replaced yours?
  13. it's also called a thermo element, sometimes called a wax choke. It is on the front of the carb. Throw the Haynes manual away and get a Nissan Service manual.
  14. Check the thermochoke, mine did the same thing because it was seized. Picked up a used one at the salvage yard for $10.00. A new one from Nissan was a hundred bucks.
  15. According to the plate on the door jam, mine came with 235/75/15's.
  16. Awesome. I think I will order a set. I like the 30x9.50x15 MT's
  17. Picture this. The front end is laying on the ground, It has rags for tires, there are some aluminum running boards hanging off it, the sunroof is gone and there is plexiglass in the hole, the windows are half rolled up and duct tape is covering the holes, no outside door handle on the drivers side, the engine runs like crap because the thermo choke is froze up, the carb. adjustments are way out of whack, and it's running on 4 cylinders due to bad plug wires and a cracked distibuter cap, none of the switches like for the cruise control, the rear window defog, the back hatch etc.... are working. I almost walked away from this one but the body was great and the interior is perfect. After a couple of junkyard runs and some e-bay deals all is well.
  18. It had an odd set of worn out crap on it when I brought it home. I got these 215's for $50 from a local Chrysler/Jeep dealer where my son works as a mechanic. What size would you guys recommend?
  19. The bike is a 2003 ZZR 1200. Just over 55,000 miles on the odo.
  20. 165,000 miles. Next item on the list is to tear into the engine and replace water pump, timing belt and broken exhaust stud. It should be ready to run a long time after that. The Nissan is my secondary mode of transportation so it will only see around 1,000 miles a year. My primary mode is this: I just wish the Pathfinder had as much horsepower as the Kawasaki.
  21. When I bought this thing the front fenders were down about 2 inches below the top of the tires. With a little help from one of my sons, we reindexed the bars after learning how on this forum and it now sets a lot better. I picked this thing up for $350 from a college kid who had it parked behind a barn. To tell you the truth when I first saw it I wasn't sure it was worth it. After a tune up, replacing the sunroof which was a piece of plexiglass, replacing both window regulators, installing a new stereo system and changing out all the switches on the dash,I have everything working except the A/C. That can wait till Spring. I know it has way too small of tires on it, but I am looking for some good used treads. I have about $800 invested so far.
  22. Sold to Nytrosfinder, and the rubber seal is with it along with a couple of lights. I will call you later tonight.
