  1. maybe a junkyard dealio. thats what i would do to save some bucks. that would be great it you could score one.
  2. yep mine does the same thing i dont think is a problem
  3. does the starter engange? or does it just click?
  4. the button is off... i dont think its totally got to do with the fluids.but ill check them anyway. it could be more electrical. like i said it works fine after i turn the car off, then turn it back on.
  5. so i have a 94 SE v6 with the stock auto tranny. i have been noticing that it sometimes doesnt shift back down into first gear. like when it starts out its in second gear. when i accelarate away from a stop it starts to move at a much higher rpm and at a much slower speed then it would in first gear. it first happend after a little off-road session but now it seems to happen more often and a little more randomly. if i turn the car off let it sit for a few seconds and turn it back on, the tranny acts normal again. does any one know what is happening? do i need to get the tranny rebuilt or purchase a new one? thanks tom
  6. ohh right my bad. the AC BL has a t-case extension, i thought it said drop for some reason. it might be all of the stuff ive been reading on jeep forum cuz ive got nothing else to do that is making my mind go crazy. but anywho i wanna do one sometime.
  7. the automatic tranny is cable actuated, so you shouldnt have any problems. although you have to doa t case drop, and numerous other little things. but all of the mountig hardware should be included in the kit. you may want to move your bumper up too. if i recall i read that there are already holes in the frame to do this so it should be simple.
  8. could be the throw out bearing. one of my buddies who i wheel with has a 90 wrangler and his throwout bearing went, that has a high pitch squealing/scraping sound
  9. lol yea i know im looking forward to all the mud and the mods me and the pops are gunna do when it warms up. the t-bar crank with my stock stuff is just temporary untill i find a job with more hours, then ill beable to get the new UCAs and t-bars along with a 2in BL. then a basket on the roof for the spare tire and high-lift jack. then im gettign new wheels and tires. unless i wear the tires out really fast then they come first. ohh yea and the lights cant forget about those. and thanks for info on the bump stops.
  10. sweetness that makes it a whole bunch clearer. now i wish it wasnt snowing. and thanks for the welcome
  11. well ive been searching around for about 30min reading up on doing a t-bar crank and new coils in the rear and i have a few questions. would i have to do a t-case drop? will i have to relocate my brake lines? and can i just slide under my pathy and turn the adjusters on the t-bars? or do i have to loosen anything? sorry for the newb questions but when i was reading up on how to do it, it wanst all that clear to me. thanks
