The reason I ask, I did hte swap yesterday and have no pressure in any of my lines when I depress the pedal. Not sure ifI'm missing something or what

Anyone ever used a Chevy MC to get better braking in the rear?

No there are two lines in to the LSV and one to the rear brakes. I'm sure its in the shop manual, but I'm not home and I wanna order the parts I need so I can finish everything when I get home

Ohh the D44 up front has noticeably bigger pistons then the rear... Its gunny cause the rears are like a scaled down version of the front. Almost completely the same other then size

The only reason I ask, is a friend of mine has completely removed and bypassed his from his early 80's Toyota truck with little difference in his braking

So even with full spring tension it limits the amount of fluid going to the rear brakes? Or does it begin to limit when spring tension is released, indicating some sort of load?

Hey dudes, has anyone removed this valve? Its a hole bunch of f%cked on mine and I'm not buying another over complicated piece to go on

Its about 8" shorter then the OEM one with the SFD drop bracket. I never hit that on anything. I'm gonna brace it up a bit before I hit the trail. But it won't hit anything.

Yes. I went with the radius arm mount because I made everything 4" longer and the 4 link would have hit everything

$300 for the locker, $160 for the gears, $200 for the install kit, $150 for the axle, $140 for the heim joints and bushings, just waiting on the DS lengthening

Dana 44 has much more aftermarket available. With that, components are cheap as hell and you can get them everywhere, not limited to one shop. And its tough enough for what I wanna do!

I didn't say the struts were shorter. The threaded part on the top of the strut rod is a bit shorter. The strut mounts from 99.5-04 have a longer collar on them so the threaded part of the strut has to be longer. Now if you swapped them over then you're golden. Just make sure you get 96-99.5 strut mounts in the future for replacements.

Just make sure you swap the strut mounts as well. The threaded part of your 96' struts are shorter then the 04's. And the rear shocks are mounted differently. Thats why the eyelets swivel ;-)

Ok so heres how she be...
Little pieces of Steel/tin for brackets
Self taping screws
Cut an oblong hole though the fender and a 3.25" hole in the unibody. Use door edging to finish the hole, I used a sliced piece of rubber hose. Looks like sh*t, but what doesn't on this beast
Piece of Marine exhaust tube coupled to the pipe.
Marine exhaust pipe routed into the "Hotwod Mod" airbox. (search on CNTC)
There ya go boys. A bit of bordem and a few Beers and these solutions come to you :-)
