Mine has been intermittent as of late. I believe my problem is the set button on the steering wheel. The contact might be a little corroded. I turn on CC with the dashboard switch. Light comes on. At highway speeds I depress the Set button on the steering wheel and the indicator in the dash next to the speedometer does not light up. After pressing hard a few times, it connects and CC is set. The Cancel and Resume/Accelerate works fine. I'll have to find some contact cleaner and try it on that set button.

MMM...Berhinger desk. Nice. How many channels? Yep. I got called for a gig this next weekend and they want the big monitors, so I'll have to use the big truck. They have 5 members setting up in a 6x10 space that aint even a stage. Small bar gig. Owner always says it's TOO LOUD even when I have the PA masters off. Maybe I'll put on a hitch and get a small trailer. If I use the same system except for the LA mons, it's still a lot less gas than the big box. That thing only gets about 12 mpg. Sucks it down fast. Cuts into the profits. Time for a new strategy for the small PAs. Seems like a waste to use the big box truck for a system designed for small gigs when the truck hauls 10 tons and takes up 3 parking spaces. Jay "So you want the big system for a crowd of 200? I had to buy a new water heater. Picked up a Whirlpool 50 gallon Electric. Fit in the back with no problem. Room to spare. The boxed WH was 52" tall x 28" square. Laid it in on its side, slid and viola, it was in and back hatch door closed. Like having a van. I've also carried a small sound rig (2 LA 2750 top end cabs, 4 JBL Taco monitors, Allen and Heath 16 ch racked board, 3 racked Crest amps, cable crate and mic case, 6 mic stands) and on another occasion my entire drum set (all in cases, kick, snare, 2 racks, floor tom, cymbal and trap cases). Next, I want to fit 6 cheerleaders and a cooler full of ice cold Bass Ale SMAK SMAK SMAK (wife hits Jay with a frozen trout a few times) Sorry Honey, jus kiddin "Bring me ...... a shrubbery" Jay

Wow. I thought I would be one of the oldest geezers 'round here, but I see the 50+ range beats me out. Good to see I'm not the only. Are there oldsters attending these off-road rallies a lot? I need to get into it more. These stories from some of you sound like loads of fun. And I need more fun. Highway drivin just gets old after a while and having this machine makes me want to mod and trail. Ahhh, to be 20something again though. Jay

What I can't understand are those who by the 2 wheel drive Jeeps. All I want to do is ask them if they're interested in land I have for sale in Florida. Now, I'm no off-roader like a lot of you guys (n00ber here ) and I run BFG Long Trail T/As. Mostly, I drive long distance highway. But, when it snows/ices around Va. (which aint often) I count more Jeeps in the ditches than anything else. And I love it when I mosey by in my Pathy in 4WD, Power switch on and make it look like I drive in the stuff all the time. We had a pretty major ice storm the winter after we bought our 95er and I used the features. Never had a problem. And once in a while I do have to go off-road (unpaved farm roads) and have never had problems with those either. Thanks Nissan. Jay
