  1. so I gave my 95 pathfinder to my girl, and when she is driving sometimes it will just die while driving. she will have to wait a couple of mins to get it started. she told me sometimes her dash lights and her main her lights will go out, sometimes they don't. the power steering and breaks go out like the car just turns off. I'm going to go look at it night, what should I be looking for? I'll deff check the connection with the battery. could be a ingition problem as well? any help would be great.
  2. yeah I'm going to take a tap get the measurements, then call them up and see if it matches with the pathfinder ones. I still haven't compared them to the stock ones, not having a floorjack is awesome
  3. can't everyone just get along?
  4. hahaha mark you don't even own a nissan get out'a here
  5. yea but you can lift your front end with stock uca's right? I think I'm just going to reindex them again and see if I can mess with it heh. it sucks because I don't own floor jacks so I have to go to a friends house everytime.
  6. yea I'm pretty sure I'm doing this right because when I crank them up the space between the bumb stops gets smaller and the front end lifts up. I'm taking it 4wheel parts and have them look at it because I can't find the problem. as far as frame damage I'v look'd it over a billion times but I might be missing something. so I havent compared my new UCA's to my stock ones. but if they are the same size, did they give me the wrong ones or are they just made like that?
  7. so yea I was looking at my old UCA's and it looks the same size as the stock ones awesome! haha but I've seen people lift the with the stock uca's on. so would could be going on? should I try and sell the ones I have and pick some better ones? I'm taking it to the 4wheel parts guys they are going to see what they can do. its like 50 bucks to check it out. I think I'm doing the torsion bars wrong.
  8. those are pics if your looking at the front end, didn't have a floor jack so I couldn't jack it up. and the camber is fixd because I haven't cranked up my torsion bars that much if you look at the bumb stops they are like 2-3 inches off. and here is my clown car tee hee. and I have the front at stock hight so I can drive it.
  9. yep the higher I go the tops of the tire sticks out like \---/
  10. yeah when I took it firestone they lowered the tbars a but to fix the camber. so its like the higher I go, the worse the camber gets. so right now the camber it good and drives fine, but it looks like a clown car because my back is higher by like 2 inches. so I just don't understand when ever I tighten my tbars my cambe gets f'd hehe
  11. hmm what do you mean by misindexed? heh still kinda new
  12. everytime I try and lift it the camber gets worse. I---I is when the the uca's are like 3 inches off the bumb stops. and /--\ when its like a a half to 1 inch off the bumb stops. and I think there is only 1 shim on my right control arm.
  13. ohh I see, then yes I guess they are ac controll arms haha
  14. yea I think so I got this lift https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...;products_id=64 but yea I think they are called ac
  15. they said they couldn't do the alignment because they thought it had frame damage, but they couldn't find it... so they drop'd the tbars all the way and did a eye ball job. the camber is fix'd because the tbars are drop'd to stock hight. so whever I go up with the tbars the camber goes \---/ and its a pain. I'll have to double check to see if they did anything with those shims. I didn't see any frame damage what so ever when I was down there. and it drives fine when the tbars are down so I don't think there is any frame damage I'll take it to a body shop to see if they can find something I guess
  16. ok so I took it to firestone to see what they could do. they fix'd the aliment as best they could. but to fix the camber they had to lower the front end to basicly stock hight. so I need to check those shims but I only remember their being only 1 shim on each side. there is also this place call'd eastside trucks I might take it too, to see if they could find out whats going on, because I must be missing something.
  17. Ok so I crank'd my tbars up more which made the prob worse. Then I looked at the bumb stops and my uca's are on them. So ill drop the front end till those. Come off the bumb stops. I hope that should fix the camber
  18. yeah my front end doesn't look even from the rear looks like its a good inch lower. so I wonder if I crank those up a little to see if that goes away. I'll check everything make sure its tights and if that doesn't work I'll check the shims. one more thing, what does the idler arm do? didn't have time to get that in, would that have anything to do with it? and if not what does it do
  19. hmm ok! yeah so those little shims can effect the camber that much?
  20. ok so after I put my new UCA's and cranked new tbars up my tires sit like \----/ is that a ball joint issue? and is a camber ajdustment hard? or is this a bigger issue then a simple camber ajdustment.
  21. Awesome so it took awhile but I got it in. Looks great! i'l have pics soon. But I need the ajust my camber. Is that a easy thing to do? If not I will prolly take it in because it doesn't cost much at all. Thanks for the help guys and yea that propane trick works great. Now time for bigger tires also didnlt have the time to put the idler brace thing in. What does that exacty do? Didnt have time to even look at heh.
  22. tyrhine

    tbars yay

yea just did that awesome. any Q for the rear shocks most people but the bigger end on the bottom. is that to protect the rubber sleaves? or does it really matter which way they are put in?
