  1. My two cents.I got he 3 inch suspension lift which i am not too happy with on road due to the instability but is better for offroad. Body lift is more solid and is awesome when working on your truck but not reccommended for hardcore offraod due to strain on the contact points and i got that too. I run the 32x11.5x15 on my legos and thier fine. All said i think you would have enough power with 33s with a new muffler, intake and headers. Not only does it stand out inthe parking lot but it sounds sweet.
  2. My clutch and timing belt went quite smootly and it runs excellent now. Not a big deal but I did spend about a day and a half with my brother on it but it was fine. Do it all yourself. I saved 2 grand on labor by doing it myself and I know my truck way more now because of it.
  3. I did take my front sway bar off and the roll on the highway felt kinda cool. Even when all sway bars are on and I corner hard my tire comes off the ground enough to loose traction and it pisses me off. I need to test out the flex yet withoput the front sway bar. another problem I have if u look at anyone flexing a IFS pathy is the back flexes easy so u almost tip ur truck over with a rear tire off the ground a foot and the front tires are barely stuffed. Thus u need more front flex to even front and back flex out.
  4. I've never seen a fuel light on mine either but I average about 70L when I fill up and havent ran it right empty cause THAT WOULD SUCK. Side note. Anyone with a 3" body lift lifted thier fuel tank the three inches? Maybe for more clearance in the back?
  5. Wait a sec. The u joint must be the ones on the rear drive shaft because there wouldnt be one on the rear axle as it is fixed right? Got confused there for a sec
  6. Sorry to be slow but where exactly are the U joints again?
  7. Me TOO!! I also think having a sub box with two twelves that take up the entire trunk rendering it almost useless is stupid! It doesnt take much to biuld a custom box which is taller than it is wide and mount it to the side. You will love the extra space. As for sound quality, I dont know the difference bettween the big ass boxes and my tiny one but mine is really loud and goes way louder than my speakers can.
  8. custom sub box with a 12" sub and the volume in the box is very small but it pounds decent. The box sits overtop of the wheelwell and the sub points toward the interior mounted spare with the front of the box angled off to follow the lean of the rear seat and sits only about an inch past the wheelwell so it takes up way less room(about half)than the spare. a 1200W xplod which is mounted on top and the end fits into the 1.5" inset of the window and is flush to the opposite edge. A scrap yard bent grill painted completes the setup which is bolted with angle iron to the floor. Totally out of the way and the cargo area is still useful. Loud enough to impress everyone who comes in my truck. Sorry but I got no pics yet. Plan on getting a low profile sub and cutting out part of the metal interior rear quarter panel so it only sticks out 2"s past the side. Only bad part is the amp is in totally plane sight of passerbys but I plan on carpetting the rear windows as they are all but useless
  9. I have plenty of body work to do on my truck from ur typical trail ride but the body shop is too rich for my wallet. I would like to do a decent job with my air sprayer but need to find the right color and clear coat espeacially. Has anyone done this nevermind thegravel gaurd dudes?

  11. Im way up in smithers so a ways away. I saw a guy who has a sas done on his with 35s or somehting in nanaimo but havent seen him on this site. His rig is awesome.
  12. He said he was on ice and the pathfinder is a light truck compared to other trucks and dont go far on ice with hard rubber MT tires. Ive bin in 3 feet of powder but once u stop and hit ice it could be very hard to get out. The pictures dont do it any justice but do they ever? Airing down the tires and never stopping inthe deep stuff would help though. I drive in through couple feet of snow for 6 months of the year and the pathfinder goes so far with even crappy tires on. Get a jackall as well. Its saved my ass a couple times.
  13. Well its jan 09 and I jsut found this site and I have the same thump problem. Has anyone figured out what this is yet?
  14. Thats cool. didnt know that though I musta seen it somewhere. Ususally just roll on right? Cant u get paintables too? Well Ill look at color combos and decide. Thanx
