k9sar
anyone? anyone? 95 pathy at highway speed, turned on cruise control and hit the set button. took foot off gas and coasted slower adn slower until the cruise control system decided to shut itself off cause I guess there was too great of a difference between actual speed and set speed. I'll prolly pull out the service manual later this week (when I get some spare time) but was wondering if anyone had a similar failure and what the fix was
DSM_guy
my guess would be from a vac leak from the way you described it. check out all the lines runing to it. highly unlikley your diaphram ruptured. 88pathoffroad
The CC on 95's has an electronic solenoid instead of a vaccuum diaphragm, IIRC.

88pathoffroad
Aha, I was wrong. Plug that vaccuum line back in!
k9sar
there's a rigid line that is clamped at the rusty bolt in the pic that runs down to the tranny. This line should be open (not sure why but I confirmed it on a neighbors 95). The guys who rebuilt my front end after my accident plugged the vacuum line into that rigid line rather than the actuator for the ASCD. sheesh! I wonder what I was doing to the tranny when I was trying the speed control and it was sucking on that rigid line.
