DonutHands
Exhaust started smelling rich for the last week or so. Yesterday check engine light came on. Stopped by auto part store and said MAF needed replacement after reading the code. Unfortunately I did not grab the code. Looks like the MAF is aftermarket right now. Anything else I should look at or just order a replacement? This is $65 https://www.rockauto.com/es/moreinfo.php?pk=3020370&cc=1364138&jsn=
joshrichard
If that’s the code that popped up then it’s probably correct. I just recently replaced the MAF sensor and tube. What year is your pathy?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DonutHands
Actually there are 2 parts listed, which do I need? $65 https://www.rockauto.com/es/moreinfo.php?pk=3020370&cc=1364138&jsn=13 Corresponds to https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/nissan-mass-air-flow~22680-5j000.html?Make=Nissan&Model=Pathfinder&Year=1997&Submodel=&Filter=() or $160 https://www.rockauto.com/es/moreinfo.php?pk=3020229&cc=1212051&jsn=10609 Corresponds to https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/nissan-mass-air-flow~22680-2j200.html?Make=Nissan&Model=Pathfinder&Year=1997&Submodel=&Filter=()
Sjackson2
What code was it throwing? Also...go with either a junk yard r50 Maf, or an 01 maxima maf. Aftermarket mafs are not reliable and the maxima maf is a direct replacement and much cheaper new than an r50 Maf
DonutHands
Saw the Maxima MAF mentioned elsewhere, but I believe that is for the VQ35, is that correct? The parts I listed are Hitachi brand which I think is the OEM for the original Nissan parts, no? Just don't know which one to order.
