  1. Thanks for all the help, I finally got them. took a lot of hitting, wd 40 and I bent my pickle hammer. But I got them off. But then I went to re-install, only to find out that the threads on the inners are to small. Damn!
  2. Okay, I was using a hammer, so I guess its a cause of going bigger.
  3. I got mine at autozone, So of course it bent, hahaha.
  4. Hey, I cant get my outer tie rod end out. I plan on replacing all of them due to wear. I took the cotter pin and the lower nut off, and loosened the ram nut. I am using a tierod end separator tool, and they still wont budge. Does anyone have any advice, or am I missing something here? I thought they would just pop off? Thanks
  5. Thanks, I'm leaning more towards the mile markers, Does anyone know if you have to modify the center caps on the legos to get them to fit?
  6. Nice, I installed one in-front of my AC condenser, you can feel a major difference in heat just from driving. Best 100 bucks I ever spent.
  7. Hey, so I was looking into a set of manual hubs, and I was wondering between Warn and Mile Marker. I know Warn makes good stuff, but I think that Mile Marker is good to and they are cheaper. Just wondering what other peoples advice is. Thanks, Trenton

    AC UCAs

So if I wanted to get a set of rough country UCAs, am I correct in saying that if I pair that up with AC 3" springs in the back I will get a true 3" lift. Also I have searched but I was just wondering how much wear a 3" lift causes on the rest of the truck, I know that it affects the center link as well as the idle arm, but is that it?
  9. Ya it is a spin on type, I forgot to mention that here is a link to it http://www.transmissioncoolers.us/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=T&Product_Code=13091&Category_Code=filter-temp the only place that I think that I can mount it is by the battery box?
  10. Hey, so I was able to add my external cooler, but I could not find a good place to mount the filter kit. I was hoping that someone, could post some pics of where they have mounted theirs, or they have any advice. Thanks, Trenton
  11. Okay so what I think that I am going to do is mount this http://www.transmissioncoolers.us/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=T&Product_Code=4454&Category_Code=tru-cool-thin in front of the AC radiator and bypass the main radiator, and run a inline filter before it (below).Seems weird to me that the temp starts at 140, just my opinion. http://www.transmissioncoolers.us/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=T&Product_Code=13091&Category_Code=filter-temp I think that since I have a new radiator, if it it doesn't work, or if it is to cold in the winter I can re-work in to run the the radiator as well using that "thermal bypass valve" RJSquirrel posted. Am I correct in my logic? I hope that my confusion is able to help someone else is the future haha!
  12. I was looking at the Derale kit that you posted in another post, and I was wondering how you mounted the gauge? Could you post some pics of the install. Also, how hard was it to wire up the gauge? Thanks, Trenton
  13. okay thanks, does this seem adequate, I live where it snows in the winter and it gets over 100 in the summer. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70255/
  14. Thanks, do I have to mount it vertically if I do it that way? I read that it is not to mount them like that because if you get air in the system it wont be able to pass it through the cooler, or is that just being over cautious? Also,I have a new radiator, so should I still bypass it in favor of the external cooler?
  15. hey everyone, I have read (and searched) a lot on here about Automatic Transmission coolers, including Dr Bills write up (which was very helpful). But I am still wondering where other people have mounted theirs? I know that a lot have put theirs in front of the AC radiator, but all the ones that I have seen like that are running vertically, and I have read on here that that is a bad idea. The other options is to run it in between the Main radiator and the AC radiator, which is what I am leaning to. I guess I am just curious if anyone has mounted it in another location or can recommend a spot to mount it. Thanks, Trenton
  16. Hey sorry for the deny, its 42" wide, 52" long, and 4" tall.
  17. nope, it comes close, but no. I can still open the sunroof too.
  18. Haha thats cool man! I haven't seen a lot of people with the stock brush guard.
  19. Ya I did, it was either that or I run it along the door into the engine bay. I didn't like that idea, I thinks it looks cleaner this way (from the inside atleast).
  20. I hope thats a good thing?? haha
  21. thats the cool part, I made it with my friend in metal shop when I was in High School, so it didn't cost me anything (except for the spray on bed-liner). But If you buy the metal cheap (mine is 1" square tubing), you can probably take it to someone and have them make it for ya? Try to make friends with someone who welds, that way you can save some money instead of going to a fab shop.
  22. New bushings all the way around New torsion bars New Shocks Fix rear drivers side locks and window New tint and paint New speakers fix fuel gauge,rear-wiper, power mirror switch. And new timing belt ( in about 30,000 miles)
  23. Okay here are some pics of the way is mounted to the factory roof rack, I bought a roof rack mounting kit from off road unlimited here is the link http://www.offroadunlimited.com/orustore/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=1840 and the light I got from 4wheelparts.
  24. OK cool thanks, I talked to a friend of mine today who his dad owns a shop and they are gonna help me with the bushings. He said that he has the same polyurethane bushings I want on his truck. He told me that they squeak like crazy but they are really tough. I was wondering if anybody else has had the same thing happen to them? Thanks
