How do you properly switch between 2wd and 4wd. Does the car need to be in Park, neutral or drive? Does it matter? How about 2 and 4 low? Everytime I try to operate it, it grinds before engaging!!! :(

also i believe (not in my truck now) but it is written how to on your sun visor. at least on my 95 it is....and i thought shifting from 2HI to 4HI you kept it in drive, and could shift on the fly at speeds up to 50MPH....either way i always stop, but i thought the only time you had to shift into N was when shifting from 4HI to 4LO....
