dash cluster light

I have a 95 pathfinder SE Just the other day my dash lights didn't come on but my head lights came on just fine I turned off my lights then turned them back on and everything was working fine but now I have no dash light or tail lights my clock light works but nothing else I checked all the fuses that had to do with the lighting system but they were all fine so I was wondering if anyone could help find the problem I can't drive at night now cause none of my tail lights work my brake lights and turn signals work

There's a few fusible links (seven or so) up around the battery. If the connectors on them get corroded or loose it can cause weird problems like that.

I had the same problem on my '87 and I think it had to do with the connector on one of those links. I can't remember for sure though, sorry.

The fuse for those lights in particular is labeled "Meter", IIRC. I bet your headlight switch is not working right. You can fix that yourself with a Philips screwdriver and about ten minutes. Pull the steering column cover and take a look at the inside where the headlight switch comes in and is screwed down. At the end of the lever in there is a set of contacts(under a cover, I believe). The contacts need to be cleaned or very carefully re-arched so thay work properly again.
