Help! Where is the Ambient air temp sensor

It not an important thing but the Compass / Thermometer console on the roof of the truck works but the temp read out is just dashes and the local Nissan service center said its the sensor but don't know of hand where it is. Does anyone know where the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor hides out at?

hi & welcome

 

not sure exactly but i have heard of them being between the dash and the firewall

 

btw if the local Nissan shop doesnt know where it is i would be going to another shop :unsure:
