low mileage auto trany replacement

When I first got the truck I had the typical signs with the transmission going , with the reverse not engaging 2 % of the time but back and forth to park and it was going. Forward one year ; during a kick down the trans slipped and I red lined the engine :o let go the gas to shift to 2nd and it did. Well this was the technique from now on , and I lost the overdrive . Forward 2 weeks and there goes the reverse( there is no more ) good thing being forced to go forward was not a problem sly

 

Well story short my garage dude got me a low mileage from China and it cost me $1300 installed with one year warranty -bounce-

 

We are back on the road and sometimes off it lol

Thats pretty cool. What made u decide to go with the Chinaman's trans?

 

Did u have other options for it? JY's or anything?

My mechanic was always saying Chinese now I'm saying it

Option 2 was rebuild it but I was looking at twice as much at least and the thing had already 330k on it with a rebuild done at half of that before hand.

 

Trany cooler is definitely next
