jareece Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 Something weird is going on with my pathfinder, the horn and cruise will not work when the steering wheel is straight. The only way to make either one of them work is to hold it down, and slightly turn the wheel either left or right and they'll work. I've pulled the center piece off and looked in it, but nothing looked abnormal i guees you'd say. no lose wires or nothing. jj big shoe Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 Don't know about the cruise control, but most horns are a simple two wire circuit. There will be a plate or ring on the horn pad and another inside the wheel. Maybe the horn pad is a bit warped and won't allow contact when your wheel is pointing straight.
