U could buy and import these vehicles very cheaply into Canada I'd imagine. VGC versions of the terrano can be bought in Japan for around $1000 AUD. Tokyo has banned the use of pre 2001 model diesel vehicles from its roads, so it has left thousands of these vehicles virtually worthless, so the are sold at auction where they go very cheaply. Since australia cannot import them any more, that is another market that has been removed therefore lowering the prices even further.

Thats crazy, I wonder what LHD converstion would cost. There'd almost be a market for importing them just to sell... almost.
