I decided to just leave my spare in the back of my pathfinder. For those of you who have your tire mounted inside in the cargo area on the drivers side, I have one question for you guys.

 

Does your tire move around slightly or is it tight and not loose whatsoever?

Mine's tight, though after I removed it once (temporarily for more space) and put it back, I did need to retighten it after bouncing around a bit - just needed to seat itself, I guess.

Mine's been tight the whole time I've had it, although I'd like to eventually get a full sized spare for back there. I wonder what the max size tire you can put in the internal carrier?

the time where rubber bungee straps come in handy.

For wheeling I have to lay the backseat down... put my box for my 2x12's up by the back of the front seats.. lay the spare down and put a strap over them for immobility.... I am not excited about the thought of 2x12's smacking me in the back of the head bouncing through the mud or something...

I've got a 31x10.5x15 BFG MT in the back of mine. I had to fab a bracket to hold it still. It fits in there with a little room to spare. I dunno if a 32" would fit tho.
