It's pretty basic. First you have to pop off the lower plastic piece (around and under the steering wheel). That will reveal two screws which you undo. Then you take off the two in the top of the black bezel above the gauges. Then I believe there are two more below that cover. Then you bring out the whole gauge assembly, unplug it, and take it to your workbench and start unscrewing stuff. Be careful with the clear plastic, as it is most likely too brittle to be manipulated much... I broke mine and a new one was $20-$30 I can't remember.
