KevinKernaghan
I was looking for a long-term update on whether or not the method of cleaning an oxygen sensor with a blowtorch (saw it in another post) was successful or if anybody else had tried or pefected upon that method. Slick
If I tried to clean mine with a bt..I could guarantee I would need to buy a new o2 sensor shortly thereafter..lol... sssh
Precise1
I have not heard anything other than the original write up. I believe that it can work somewhat, depending on how dirty it is and how well you clean it. I think the only way to perfect the method is to be careful... DSM_guy
when you can have a brand spaking new one for around 65 bucks..why even bother? youll gain alot of mpg back if you just replace a fowled o2 sensor with a new one. i replaced the one in my dsm recently and i honestly gained 6-8mpg. i went from about 30-32 to 38-
