I have not heard anything other than the original write up. I believe that it can work somewhat, depending on how dirty it is and how well you clean it. I think the only way to perfect the method is to be careful... :shrug:

when you can have a brand spaking new one for around 65 bucks..why even bother? youll gain alot of mpg back if you just replace a fowled o2 sensor with a new one. i replaced the one in my dsm recently and i honestly gained 6-8mpg. i went from about 30-32 to 38-40

i think i need to chnage mine.. it's been there for 340K miles...

 

i currently get like 18 MPG i though that was average for a pathy.. but if not.. i'll change it..

yeah.. that's bout average.... :contract:
