PF shuts off while turning

hi all....im new to this forum. i've look through the posts here and couldnt find anyone w/ the same problem i'm having. i got a '94 PF M/T 4WD that will stall out on my when im turning left....havent shut off on my turning right...yet. once it stalls out...i would sometimes have trouble w/ restarting the car back up. i would have to wait a while before it will start again. battery and alternator is good. terminals are clear of battery acid.

i have figured out that i dont have spark coming from the coil....so i replaced coil and ignition module and still the same problem. if both those components are changed out and im still having the same problem....wouldnt that leave the ECU as the possible cause? the ECU sends the signal to the ignition control module correct? any input would be appriciated.

i forgot to mention that i've gotten the truck tuned up as well....(spark plug, cap, rotor, fuel filter). also had the starter changed out too.

Check your main grounds. That could be the culprit.

Also check the connections on your sending unit for the fuel pump, could also be there.

Remove the passenger seat to make sure that all connections to the ECU are okay, and that it's still securely mounted.

thanks for the quick reply. i'll double check the grounds again. but would a bad connection at the sending unit keep the truck from getting spark? connector at the ECU is secure....none of the wires feel loose or damaged.

No, it wouldn't cause the truck not to get spark, but I wasn't sure that you were sure that it's a spark issue. If you are, disregard the sending unit part.

I got ahold of a diagram that kinda shows you where the grounds are....i found the one next to the battery....and the one behind the coil. those 2 look fine....there's another one from what i can tell...is towards the back of the manifold by the injectors....i cant seem to find that one. if it happens to be my ECU that's not sending the signal...about how much do a ECU cost...new or used?
