Trialsin26
Has anyone used this for their Diff Fluid? http://www.valvoline.com/pages/products/pr...l.asp?product=2 I just got 3 QT and want to make sure it will work in my 2001 PF with LSD. It says "recommended for all hypoid differentials (conventional and limited slip)..." Let me know. Thanks Edited September 11, 2005 by Trialsin26
wheel366
Ive never used that. I have this in my diffs now: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/fgr.aspx But, there is also the severe duty gear oil: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/svg.aspx As with the valvoline that you have looked at, these can be used in diff's with LSD, but if you notice some chatter, then you need to add some LSD additive: https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/ada.aspx Edited September 12, 2005 by wheel366
Trialsin26
Wheel- Thank you. My friend told me about Amsoil. He said it was good stuff. I returned the Valvoline today and I think I'll order the Amsoil with the LSD additive.
