Pezzy Posted August 17, 2005 Share Posted August 17, 2005 One step closer for you I hope... my Service Advisor gave me this info: for the front diff, we use Penzoil Gearplus GL-5 for limited slip diffs, 80W90 weight. You can use this in the front diff as well, or just use regular 80W90 gear oil. Rear takes 2.5 litres and the front takes about 2 litres or less. TrailChaser Posted August 17, 2005 Share Posted August 17, 2005 If you have a manual tranny don't get anything with GL-5 for it. The manual tranny has to have GL-4. I sold some castrol 80w90 GL-5 to a guy with a nissan last night... I told him about 3 times this is not good. Showed him where it says use only GL-4 on the computer. He still bought it. nycxice13 Posted August 18, 2005 Author Share Posted August 18, 2005 I did it. The rear drain cap was the biggest pain in the arse to remove.
