OR99.5Speed
I have my 1999.5 Pathy that was built 1/99. I have 265/70-16 on it now, but plan on buying either Revos, Geolandars, BFGs, or Destinations. I am debating between 245/75-16, 265/70-16 or 275/70-16. I like the 275/70-16 idea the most, but didn't know if they were going to fit. Does anybody know of rubbing issues? 265/75-16 doesnt fit without a 1" lift, right? Also, there were some suspension changes starting with the 2/99 models... Does anybody know why the OME part number is different starting with the 2/99 date?
02silverpathy
Unfortunatly i am a ways off..I have 255/70/16 on my pathy and looks like she could get 255/75/16 with no hassle...I thank that i have read elswhere that dudes have put 265/70/16 on theirs and only slight rubbing when backing up..quickly. Didn't some of them come with 265/70/16? or was that just the "X"???
02silverpathy
remember that second number is a percentage of the first number...
OR99.5Speed
Well, there is no such thing as a 255/75-16; if there was I would be all over it. My uncle is a tire distributor for Yokohama, so I get free Yokos! And I just learned all of this today!!! HAHA! Im so excited! Well, I have 265/70-16 National XT Commandos, an off-brand tire of decent quality made by Yokohama that came with the Pathy. They are fine for the summer weather but when the snow falls when I am at school in Indiana I will need the Geolandar ATs. 265/70-16 works great, and I have noticed no rubbing, even off-road at full flex. They are 30.6 inches in diameter.
02silverpathy
Yoko's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a hot opportunity..congrats on the personal hook-up!! I have always admired yokohama's but due to their soft/stickiness for street tires i could never afford to enjoy them...i figured that they would wear even faster than i could buy them, lol.
