Tranny Swap?

anyone ever done a 5 spd swap? is it possible? I'm looking at a tranny rebuild soon, and i dont want to deal with having to do it more than once. I'm tired of week, poorly designed auto tranny's, and I like driving 5 spd. Anyone know if this has been done before?

Somebody on the WD21 forums was doing it, I think. Too bad they aren't up and going right now. I'm pretty sure he did it okay.

You can do it, but it takes ALL the parts from a donor vehicle, unless you have really deep pockets for new parts. I'd find a junkyard Pathy with the clutch setup already installed and yoink everything for the swap.
