Earth1
I drive my Pathy everyday and wheel it quite a bit too. What are the benefits of performance clutch parts (Centerforce, etc.) vs. OEM? Any one part more important and worth upgrading than others? -study-
Slick
well... though Centerforce is a good clutch...depending on how much money you have to blow...and how hard on clutches you are... The CF II for my Pathy..Summit wanted $437 (to include TO bearing) and so I cruised down to Kragen, and got a heavy duty OEM clutch for $178. (incl. TO bearing). The clutch is good and strong..and cost half of what the CF did. I do a lot of town driving, and I wheel as well..and I have found my OEM clutches to be sufficient. in the end...it's up to you. 88pathoffroad
From what I understand, CF clutches work better if they get wet. Good point...they're also really really burly and will take some abuse before glazing over or wearing out totally.
