I am going buy a body lift kit and noticed at http://www.4x4parts.com/ they have the transmission & transfer case extension, I am sure that this is what is need but I would just like to make sure that I do not have any shifting problems and would like the shifter to look normal.

Does this extension make the tranny shifter look normal or what?

when you complete a body lift does the shift pull down to the floor ?

and is that what the extension is for to make it look and shift normal?

If you have an auto transmission, the shifter needs no modifications. The transfer case shifter will sink down into the floor, though. You'll either need to bend the t-case shifter or weld on an extension to make it shift properly after the body lift. You won't be able to put it into 4LO unless it's been modified.
