03 SE Power Loss

Greetings All,

I’m a new member and looking for some help! Today while driving my 03 SE, I experienced a loss in power. The car suddenly felt like it was running on 30% of normal power. I shut off the A/C and pulled over. No knocks, pings, or miss fire was noted. I popped the hood and gave it a once over, and all appeared normal. I Shut the car off (in hopes to reset whatever was wrong) and after restart the problem hadn’t changed. I limped the car to a dealer, got a rental and was told they will look at in the morning. I got the standard, “you have to pay for your rental, $89 dealer diagnostics speech” as well. I purchased the truck in October (CPO), maintained as recommended and have no problems other than this to date (50k on the odometer last oil change yesterday). Thanks in advance for any advice, tips, or words from a similar experience. Any help on diagnosing this issue would be appreciated.

Drive Safe!

Hmm, I don't know much about this but the same thing happened to my dad's camaro, it was the fuel pump somehow instantly killed itself, he got it replaced and everything was back to normal, just a thought......

The fact that you had an oil change the day before makes me wonder if the tech didn't bump or pull something loose by accident, and it finally disconnected ? I know this happened to me once with the alternator wire...
