Does anyone know what the stock ring and pinion gears for a 1994 4x4 Pathfinder SE model. The stock tires are 31x10x15, also does anyone know whether they are Dana's or? Also whether they come with LImited slip or Posi Trac or?

I'm wanting to put a locker in the rear for better traction and pulling power.

If any one knows please fill me in.

Manual transmission: 4.375:1

Auto transmission: 4.625:1

 

Look for an orange "Use LSD Oil Only" sticker on your rear diff, or put it in neutral, jack the back end up and spin one tire. If it has a LSD, both tires will spin the same direction. if they spin opposite directions, no LSD.

 

You can't install a regular locker in a LSD, only an open one. An ARB air locker will go into a LSD carrier, but they cost like $800-1000.
