Removing torque converter from flex plate -help?

Okay, before I get told to search, or get a manual - I have searched, and my Chilton's manual will be here tomorrow. However, I was hoping to get some work done on this tonight. I've got the tranny out (remind me never to do this again), and now I'm looking at the torque converter. How do I get this thing off? I see there are 4 bolts holding it to the flex plate, but they come in from the back side. I'm sure someone here has done this before. I can't even see the bolt heads, let alone attempt to get a tool on them. What am I missing? I've done a dozen manual trannies in my cars, but this is my first automatic. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Ok Bud, I'm working from memory here so be afraid, be very afraid !! I could have sworn someone talking about having to access them through the starter hole. It doesn't sound like fun. Hopefully I'm right, but I think so... Just trying to let you get a jump on it. M/T here :D

O, so then I retrieved my brain from the nightstand, installed it and looked in the manual... Chilton says "Remove torque converter cover. Matchmark the converter and the drive plate for assembly; they were balanced as a unit at the factory. Remove the bolts attaching the converter to the driveplate (flywheel). You will have to rotate the engine to do this, using a wrench on the crankshaft pulley bolt" That was step 13, step 15 is remove the starter so I must be confused in the previous post. Hope it helps.
