fearkobe05
Hello still having issues with the throttle or cable getting stuck. I had it sprayed with seafoam and it worked for a while and now its back. Have a friend cleaning it again and replacing the avcelerator cable. Anyone had this issue? It was stuck and i press the accelerator cable and it released it. Not doing it now. Just gonna have it cleaned again and replace the cable and see. 01Pathmaker
How's the inside of the throttle body look? If whatever's being done doesn't work, probably would be a good idea to pull the throttle body and give it a good soak (leave it submerged for at least a few hours, overnight ideally), this will clean up any deposits inside all the linkage pivot points also.
fearkobe05
Will have to try that. How hard is it trying to pull it myself?
01Pathmaker
It's not all that hard, pretty self explanatory once you give it a good look, pick up a new gasket before you remove it otherwise you'll likely end up with a vacuum leak afterward. fearkobe05
Turns out on the end of the cable the flat braket with the small sleeve separated and the cable was getting caught. Had that replaced and the throttle cleaned out. Also the top pully was making noise so i had the 2 pulleys replaced a long with new bando belts. Thanks for your replies!
