Possible wheel/bearing issue?

Hi.

I've noticed some side to side movement of my front drivers side wheel.

I've taken a look at the wheel assembly breakdown, and it appears that the bearing retainer ring will be the culprit.

If I require new bearings as well. Are the inner and outer bearings the same? I've regreased them in the past, but that was a couple years ago and I have a hard time remembering if they were exactly the same or not.

yeah the wheel is moving and the bearing sounds really crusty. the spindle nut seemed fine when i tore it apart just now. Do you think if tightening it to get through the week will be fine?
