Hey folks, new to the forum here. I got a whole ton of wobble on my front right wheel and after some investigation pinned it to the lower right ball joint. I decided to ahead and replace the entire lower control arm and ball joint, the problem im running into now is getting the old ball joint out of the vehicle itself i already removed the control arm. Help on getting this thing out os greatly appreciated!

Control arm is out, but the ball joint is still in the knuckle? Normally when the control arm has tension on it you can smack the knuckle with a hammer where the ball joint goes in to dislodge it.

Since you are replacing the ball joint anyway, use a pickle fork. They make ones for use with an air hammer, and ones for a normal hammer.

This one does both. It will destroy the joint boot, so only use them if your not trying to save the joint.
