Imerio
Good morning everyone, I was wondering if I can install the 31x10.5r15 on my original rims. I know that they are not very width. Am I'm gonna have some tecnical problem or is just estetic? Considering also that in a few weeks I'm gonna order the 2" lift kit. Thank you Imerio
Beatup96
They'll fit but you'll have some rubbing , mostly in reverse .

01Pathmaker
I'm pretty sure that the chrome steel wheels you have are only 6" or 6.5" wide. Technically you'll be able to mount the 31x10.50's, but they may wear more quickly in the center of the tread as the rims are more narrow than the tires are designed for. Ideally you'd want a 7" or 8" rim.
Beatup96
Wider wheels would be better yes , but I put about 50,000 miles on a set of 31x10.5 Dunlops mounted to those exact style wheels . Edited October 6, 2015 by Beatup96
