i bought a 2001 that didn't come with the jack and jack tools. so i cant lower the spare etc. i saw the tools from a 2004 for sale, would anyone know if the 2004 tools would be the same for my 2001 truck?

I'm guessing that yes, they must be the same, or close enough to work, since there were no structural or even significant cosmetic changes; both have the same motor, and the spare in the same place. I'd say it is a low risk gamble, but hopefully someone knows for certain.
