04 Pathfinder 4x4 problems

Ok-I have finally narrowed down my problems with my new 04 Pathfinder. The dealership replaced the front differential, and for a day the 20, 30-40 mile/hour vibrations were completely gone. The next day they were back. The service dept was very pleased to hear this news. (At least they have acknowledged that there is a problem.) The problem came and this vibration gets worse when you change from auto 4x4 to high 4x4. The car actually feels like the transmission is about to fall out. So something is def going on with the 4x4 system. This Pathfinder has that 4x4 system that the Infiniti QX4's had in them that had an auto setting. Does anyone else out there have an 04 Pathfinder with this type of 4x4 system? And if so are you experiencing these issues?

My hope is that they should have also replace the output shafts from the diff too. Any ideas?

Thanks

I have the same system with my 2002 Pathfinder LE. In fact, I would not have bought a 4x4 if it didn't have the AWD option. However, mine runs perfectly and I've used all the options- AWD, 4Hi, 4Lo, and 2WD. I don't notice any noise or excessive vibrations. Has your Service Dept driven it recently? Go with them on a test drive and see what they say. I have no technical 4x4 knowledge so I'm of no help here

Of course, I did get another post out of it :D
