pathfinder acting irradic

Am new here, so hello to everyone. Got 88 pathy, engine stalls,surges at idle and under load, then dies if not throttled. Won't restart immediately unless I use starting fluid. Only code I get is 13, am working on cleaning connections,etc. Tried unplugging the maf and it just idled normally for a while then died. It did restart though, have some gunk on the right side of throttle body so maybe have a leak. Am baffled with this one, many thanks to anyone who can help. Oh did replace the cylinder head temp sensor, and am still getting same code.

Not that I'm a mechanic but that sounds like either a fuel supply issue or an un-metered airflow problem. Look for cracks in the intake tubes, leaking intake seals and loose vacuum lines first.

Tks,will check that, have two spare throttle bodies, tried both mafs and still same thing. I think you are right about fuel supply issue, will check the injectors and for leaks, thank you
