phenom2955
Ok so, I posted the other thread about having to tap the starter to get my 87 pathfinder to start. Pulled out the starter today and hooked some jumper cables from battery to starter and the gear spins just fine, but it does not budge out of the case, just sits in place and spins. This means its jammed correct? Is there anyway I can fix that without buying a new starter, either way I suppose I'll need to buy a new one, may as well try to salvage this one for a bit. Kingman
That's usually a solenoid issue, the "pull in" winding had gone bad.
