Oem Tire carrier question

Wassup guys I was wondering if anyone has changed there bushings where their hinge is on the carrier Mine is all worn out and make crazy rattling noises every bump Ive hit. How hard is it to do? I seen a write up from a older pathfinder wd21 but they don't look the same parts are different from what I ordered

The tire carrier is different from the WD21 to the R50, and they are fairly rare on the R50s, so I don't believe anyone has done a write up on it.

I recommend you go to the Garage section and download the 1998 FSM from the pinned thread, there should be some information in there...

So I checked and check was no information in there once my parts get in I'll be putting my skills to the test

Ok, sorry for the false lead, it is just where I would have started.

I've never inspected a R50 tire carrier, but I can't imagine it is completely different. Can you study the WD21 write ups and then go out and look at your to see what they have in common?
