will the 2001 motor of a Nissan pathfinder be compatible with a 96 Nissan pathfinder? I ask this because my R50 is seriously under powered and I don't know what else to do. She has trouble climbing hills and she stalls alot when mildly four wheeling. Please help. I work at a pick and pull so I can get motors cheep so price is not the issue, Will the tranny bolt up right? Will the trany and four wheel drive be able to handle the extra power? Will it mount up right? Will I need the ECU? Please help me! :scratchhead:

VQ trannies are beefed up, as are the transfer cases. I think you'd be better off just fixing and upgrading what you have. There's a few options to increase the power of VGs.
