chop311
Mechanic won't mess with getting out old races says it's not wort it so I need to replace the whole hub. Ordered both sides for 330$ (with shipping) from nissanpartsclub.com. They told me (after I waited a week and asked) that the parts were on "back order with no release date". They ignored my request for a refund had to call cc company blah blah. Anyway, where can I find some decent priced hubs for my 98 pathy? Precise1
Is it some impossible task due to design, or are they just lazy? #11? http://www.factorynissanparts.com/parts/1998/Nissan/Pathfinder/SE?siteid=214081&vehicleid=91891&diagram=3617145 Alkorahil (Rob Lacy) an active member here will take care of you. tdurb1327
Andy's Auto Sport did that back order crap to me too with springs.. I would avoid them as well. 4x4 parts have good customer service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

chop311
I did. I don't need manual locking hubs I have them and they are fine. I'm looking for the actual hub that comes off the axle. Most people replace the wheel bearings and races. I'm looking for te whole thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Precise1
I'm not talking about manual locking hubs either, I'm talking about the link I posted to a exploded view for the stock hub components from a reliable source. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/37975-98-4x4-wheel-hubs/?p=718963 B

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I looked all over the internet for those hubs and I can't find anyone selling them. Nobody seems to be MFG them anymore. Personally, I would find another mechanic, or take the hubs, with your new bearing races to a machine shop or brake shop like Midas or even a different mechanic and have them remove the old ones and press in the new ones. Here's a couple videos to show how easy it is to accomplish. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X30Klfg4vhU Removal of bearing races. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIGgGICt33o Installation of bearing races with hand tools, not machine pressed. Good Luck!
