Blower will come on sometimes but mostly when I tap on it

Hi everyone, new to the forum.

My blower stopped and when I tap on the bottom part where the motor assembly is it will go on.

I removed the blower thinking that it may be blocked or forcing.

I cleaned it out. When I reassembled it and plugged it back, it worked.

When I put everything back it stopped.

I tapped it again and it started again.

Turned off the ignition and it did not start back until I tapped it again.

I am assuming that I need to replace the blower but when I go online and do research it seems that

some posts say that it could be the fan control amplifier.

 

Can someone please guide me in the correct direction?

Did you take the motor apart to clean it? The blower in my sentra was doing the same thing, It ook the motor apart, cleaned the copper windings and added some grease on the shaft, been fine ever since.
