Hi Everyone, I think I saw this discussed before but can't find it. My engine is making a clattering sound. I be leave from the lifters has anyone found a remedy for this? Thanks All

Well these trucks do have noisy lifters naturally so it's hard to determine the sound you're hearing and if it's within the normal range of noisy, or if it's something else. My mechanic told me one time that one of my fuel injectors was the source of a bunch of racket. You might try a little heavier oil, might silence it.
