Mounting roof rack

I want to mount a roof rack on my 1994 Terrano.

The problem is there are no rails on the car...

It seems i have 3 options:

 

1. Try to find rails on the scrapyard, not so easy to find and expensive.

2. Buy roof cargo bars that you tighten between the door openings. and then mount the rack to the bars.

3. Make some brackets and bolt it directly through the roof.

 

the rack is about 120x140cm and weighs 40-50kg(90lb)

 

Please give me some advice.
